Luxer One Now Integrates with Grant Street

Florida tax collector branches now have access to a powerful new solution. Luxer One smart lockers are officially integrated with Grant Street! Grant Street is a platform that powers tax collection, ePayments, and auctions for government agencies across the state. This integration gives branches a seamless way to manage secure, contactless document exchanges without ever leaving the Grant Street interface.

A Smarter Way to Deliver Documents

Tax offices handle large volumes of sensitive materials every day. From vehicle plates and registration documents to permits and tax notices, accuracy and accountability are non-negotiable. In the past, manual handoffs or general-purpose lockers introduced opportunities for misdelivery, especially when dealing with tracking numbers that often look alike.

With this new functionality, tax collector employees can reserve a locker directly from the Grant Street UI. By assigning a specific locker to a specific individual, the branch ensures that the right document goes to the right person, every time. This added layer of control drastically reduces the risk of errors, while also improving the customer experience by offering a secure and efficient pickup option.

How the integration works

The new system is simple and secure:

  1. Reserve a locker directly through the Grant Street interface
  2. Place the item in the assigned locker. The item is secure until picked up
  3. The recipient is notified and can retrieve it at their convenience, without waiting in line or interacting with staff.

This reservation system eliminates common errors that stem from similar tracking numbers and manual sorting, ensuring documents always reach the correct recipient.

Making an Impact Across Florida

This integration is already active in several Florida DMV and tax collector branches. Offices using the system report smoother workflows, fewer in-person pickups, and greater confidence in document tracking. Every transaction is logged, therefore a full chain-of-custody audit trail is created for compliance and transparency.

In addition, Luxer One lockers are built to meet the needs of public service environments. They’re ADA-compliant, weather-resistant, and designed for high-volume use, making them ideal for government facilities throughout Florida.

That’s why more property and regional managers are reevaluating not just the amenities they offer, but the multifamily technology partners behind them.
Reliable partners don’t just help properties run smoothly. They directly support resident satisfaction, operational consistency, and long-term asset value.

The Hidden Cost of Off-Site Package Models

The Hidden Cost of Off-Site Package Models

At first glance, some package management solutions seem like a win for property teams. They promise fewer packages on-site, less clutter, and less day-to-day handling.
But what looks convenient on the surface often comes with hidden tradeoffs. While these models may reduce visibility on the property, they do not eliminate the problem. They shift it somewhere else.
And in many cases, they shift it directly onto residents.

The Middleman Problem: Why More Delivery Logistics Creates More Problems

The Middleman Problem: Why More Delivery Logistics Creates More Problems

On paper, adding more steps to a delivery process can sound like progress. More coordination, more handling, and more structure.
But in reality, more logistics often leads to more problems.
This is the core issue facing today’s multifamily delivery logistics strategies. In an effort to manage growing package volume, many systems have introduced additional layers between the carrier and the resident.
And while those layers are meant to help, they often create the opposite effect.
Because every extra step is another opportunity for something to go off track.
