At Luxer One, growth is part of the job. We prioritize promoting from within, provide clear paths for advancement, and encourage every team member to explore new opportunities! Our Luxens on the Rise series highlights team members who have carved their own paths within the company, taking on new challenges and evolving their careers along the way.
This month, we’re featuring Ashley, whose journey is a great example of how growth can happen within a role. She’s taken on greater responsibilities and alongside her work in Technical Support, she also plays a key role in supporting Customer Success.
Start date: December 2017
Starting Role: Residential Support Representative
Current Role: Technical Product Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA
What did you do as residential support rep?
What does being a Technical Support Manager II entail?
I focus on keeping our locker systems running smoothly, our customers happy, and my team performing at a high level.
I lead a team of 8–10 reps, own uptime, and make sure we’re hitting our SLAs and performance goals. But in reality, it’s a mix of troubleshooting, coaching, and staying ahead of issues before they become bigger problems.
No two days are the same. One minute I’m solving a technical issue, the next I’m improving processes or supporting my team. At the end of the day, it’s all about keeping systems online, customers confident, and the team winning
What motivated you to pursue growth within the company?
What motivated me to pursue growth within the company was the opportunities I was given early on. The company was growing quickly, and that created a lot of room to step up, take on more responsibility, and continue developing. I saw that and took the initiative to step up and do more.
What really stood out to me is the investment they make in their people. I’m currently in school, and the company supports that through tuition assistance, which shows they genuinely care about long-term growth. That level of support, combined with how fast things are moving, made it an easy decision to keep growing here.
What advice would you give to someone at Luxer One who wants to move up in the company?
Learn as much as you can about the lockers and how everything works end to end. Take time to meet with different departments and understand how they operate, because that bigger picture will help you make better decisions. Be proactive, don’t wait to be asked. Step up, take ownership, and look for ways to solve problems or improve processes.
Continue to invest in yourself both personally and professionally, whether that’s training, school, or learning new skills. Most importantly, be consistent and reliable. When people know they can count on you, more opportunities will naturally come your way.

Is there anything people would be surprised to learn about you?
I think people would be surprised to know that I have a son heading to college for the 2026–2027 school year!
We love Bagel Tuesday around here- what’s your go-to order?
My go-to bagel is a cinnamon bagel with cinnamon sugar butter.
Stay tuned for more Luxens on the Rise as we continue to highlight the people on our team!
