Luxens on the Rise: Employee Highlight | Saular Moaddeli

At Luxer One, growth is part of the job. We prioritize promoting from within, provide clear paths for advancement, and encourage every team member to explore new opportunities! Our Luxens on the Rise series highlights team members who have carved their own paths within the company, taking on new challenges and evolving their careers along the way.

This month, we’re featuring Saular, whose journey from Technical Support to Product is a great example of how growth can mean not just moving up, but moving into something completely different!

Start date: July 2021
Starting Role: Technical Support Rep
Current Role: Associate Product Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA

What did you do as technical support rep?

I responded to calls/emails from property staff to help resolve their technical issues. This included proactively monitoring our systems and reaching out to properties to troubleshoot. I also arranged for parts, shipments, and technician visits when necessary.

What does being an Associate Product Manager entail?

My main focus is building a software platform that enables carrier companies and logistics partners to integrate directly with Luxer One data and systems. The goal is streamlining package delivery, reducing strain on properties and our support teams, and ultimately creating a whole new product offering for Luxer One.

What motivated you to pursue growth within the company?

Honestly, I asked in my initial interview if there was room and potential for growth here. It was important to me to try to build something solid and find somewhere I could stay for a long time.

Once I started, I saw how many different routes and opportunities there were, and how accessible that “upward” movement was if you worked hard, tried to push your boundaries, and worked beyond your limited role. The culture here has also always been so welcoming and collaborative it feels casual.

What advice would you give to someone at Luxer One who wants to move up in the company?

Do what you do so well that you can’t be ignored, and then find something else you like to do and pursue that. I’d definitely suggest openly talking with your managers and execs – I’ve had some amazing influences and support along my path that have helped push me in directions I wouldn’t have even thought of on my own.

Is there anything people would be surprised to learn about you?

Before Luxer One, I had no technical or “corporate” work experience – I was a Personal Trainer at LA Fitness in Santa Monica!

We love Bagel Tuesday around here- what’s your go-to order?

I’m actually not a big “breakfast” person – though I’d do plain bagel with regular cream cheese. Now, when we have dessert items, I’m all over it (give me all the red velvet mini bundt cakes).

Saular’s journey is a great example of how growth at Luxer One doesn’t follow a single path. From hands-on technical support to shaping product strategy, his story reflects the kind of initiative and adaptability that drives both individual and company success.

Stay tuned for more Luxens on the Rise as we continue to highlight the people on our team!
